NSW: Sydney to feature on German TV's hottest cities series
SYDNEY, Dec 23 AAP - Sydney will be showcased as one of the coolest cities in the worldon an upcoming edition of Germany's MTV.
A German television crew has spent time in Sydney taking footage of the city's hottestclubs, bars, events and shopping districts for its Fashion Zone segment.
NSW Tourism Minister Sandra Nori today said the crew visited the most desirable citiesin the world, uncovering the lifestyle of the city in 24 hours.
"It's a tribute to Sydney that it has been chosen to be showcased as the place to beto an audience of three million," Ms Nori said.
"No amount of publicity dollars can buy publicity of this kind."
Sydney will also feature in an upcoming German travel program.
The 45-minute special will feature Sydney's multicultural districts such as Leichhardtand city transport including ferries, water taxis and seaplanes.
An Aboriginal art centre, the Illawarra region and Bondi Beach will also be showcased.
