NSW: Woman threatened during home invasion
SYDNEY, Aug 24 AAP - A 25-year-old woman was threatened with a screwdriver during a
home invasion in Sydney's west.
NSW police said the female student hid in a bedroom of her Harris Park unit about 3.30pm
yesterday after hearing a loud noise.
A man then entered her room and threatened her with a screwdriver, before fleeing with
some money and personal items.
The woman was not injured in the incident.
The man was described as being aged 30-35 years, 180cm tall with a strong build, medium
complexion and short brown hair.
